This Musi River is Krishna river tributary and it comes through Deccan Plateau and that is Andhra Pradesh. It would be flowing through hyderabad and then it would be getting divided into old city and then with new city.


Osman sagar and Hiamayat sagar is known through the name of Gandipet and there are 2 dams that were constructed and they are acting as the water source in Hyderabad. During the ancient times, this river was known through the name of Muchukunda River and you would also get to view the 24 Kms Lake and that was constructed for meeting all your irrigation needs.




This river would be originating through Anantagiri hills and that is located near to Vikarabad and that us Ranga Reddy and it is approximately 90 kms through the Hyderabad west and then it would be flowing in the eastern direction in its entire course. It would be crossing northern border and that is Koru Uppalapadu, Kondepi, Podili and then it would be falling into Bay of Bengal and it would be covering the total distance of 240 kms.
